Hello everyone, my name is Hilary and I am the creator of Capricorn Moon Astrology, and I welcome you to my journey. I was born and raised in Guelph, Ontario, where as a teen I discovered an interest in the ancient art of astrology, but never really explored it to great lengths. I still live in Guelph with my family as a mother, a spouse, an artist, and a lover of all things unconventional. When I left my corporate position in 2021 after 31 years of service, I thought “What is next for me?” and “Where do I go from here?”. I was experiencing an intense need to know more about my inner self, and why I am the way I am.
This is when I started to pursue my interest in reading birth charts, tarot and oracle readings furthering my appreciation of the astrological world. I began watching different YouTubers (such as Pam Gregory, Steven Forrest, Molly McCord, Steve Judd and Debra Silverman) , and filling my shelves with different new-age books and cards to satiate this need to know more. When this was no longer enough, I signed up to take classes with Steve Judd, learning more about how to better understand horoscopes, birth charts and astrocartography where I eventually completed the intermediate module. Then in 2022, I enrolled in Debra Silverman’s classes, and as of May 2023 I am now a Debra Silverman Applied Astrology Graduate.
Learning to understand the inner workings of astrological practices over the past three years has been a pleasure and a joy. I have learned so much about how all of the astrological signs, planets and houses work together to create such special and unique individuals. Using this knowledge, I have been able to gain more insight into myself, and have ultimately been able to explain the how’s and why’s of certain personality aspects, emotional balances, and relationships. I went through part of my journey trying to find a meaning to life, and thinking that I needed to be fixed. Learning these things though, has taught me that there is nothing wrong with me, and that the universe has a plan for all of us.
I am now ready to help you, dear reader, and others out there, to understand their birth charts and discover just how unique you are. I am excited to be able to share my knowledge with you, so let’s enjoy this journey of self-discovery together. Everything is written in the stars for us, so let’s see what they have to say about you.
